⛩Imamiya Ebisu Festival🎋‬

Do you know Imamiya Ebisu Festival? It's a famous New Year's tradition in the Kansai region and there is near at Namba. 

The god of prosperous business is enshrined there, and I went to pray and buy lucky charm,too!

There is crowded but you will surely have fun there.

🎨Daruma Doll Painting✍🏻

Isn't amazing!? I made it in New Year.

This is a Daruma doll that you can draw however you like freely.

In Japan, there is a traditional New Year's event called "Kakizome", where people write or draw pictures of own goals for the year using a calligraphy brush. I hated it for winter's homework when I was children🤣

But I always write goals in my life, that's why   I tried it. It was great time and good experience for me. Give it a try! 

🐙Dotonbori, Namba🏳️‍🌈

Osaka is a city where you can go shopping, enjoying gourmet foods, and never get tired of it, even though I've lived here for over 10 years. Let me introduce about a few my favorite Osaka things on this blog.

There is the most famous place in Osaka. It's a fun place to visit all day long. There're plenty of restaurants and many good place. I'm very knowledgeable about maps of Namba, so I'd be happy to your help.

🗼Shinsekai🍻

Shinsekai is like a little Dotonbori. Enjoy Osaka typical foods there. The Tsutenkaku Osaka's symbolic tower is beautiful at night with illuminations.

🏯Osaka Castle

Osaka Castle is always a popular sightseeing spot,right? I especially like to see it with the cherry blossoms in spring.

Do you know you also can enjoy the Osaka Castle in Night between winter? With the Osaka Castle tower in the background, Japan's historical shoguns and castle town are illuminated with millions of lights. So fantastic! So majestic light displays.!

🐙Osaka typical foods🦑

This is Modanyaki. Modernyaki is okonomiyaki with the addition of noodles. I feel like lucky by being able to eat both okonomiyaki and yakisoba at the same time. Here is in Namba, Visit here after Incall.

This is famous Okonomiyaki restaurant located a little far from Namba that always has a long line of people. It's delicious with lots of big ingredients like pork and seafood! The store staff also gave me a good impression.

Don't buy meat bun at a convenience store, buy it here! 551 is limited shop in Kansai area.  I recommend adding vinegar and soy sauce. Get it from staff.

🍜Ramen🍥

This store's charsiu is thickly sliced, melty, and very delicious! I like charsiu pork more than ramen noodles, so this is my favorite. Even the Prime Minister came to eat at the main shop. If you come Incall, after go and try it !

Have you eaten dried sardines ramen?  I was a little impressed it. It looks like potage soup of dried sardines, really delicious and drinkable!

I definitely recommend it! It's a bit of a walk from Shinsaibashi, but it's a popular store with people lining up even before it opens! 

The creamy soup of chicken broth, bonito flakes, and soy sauce is delicious, and the smoked pork and eggs are all delicious! If you eat it, you'll become addict this ramen.

🍣 Sushi, Seafood 🐟

I adore solo Omakase Sushi lunch for treat myself. The list of sushi restaurants I want to try is increasing. We're facing the problem of fish disappearing in 2048, but I wanna continue eating delicious fishes.

This is Eel Bowl ! Eel is usually a little expensive. but this shop's eel bowl good deal and delicious, it's properly made in Japan. I always order 1 whole eel♡

There is Grilled Bonito with straw specialty store by Kouchi prefecture in Shikoku island. Kouchi prefecture is nearby where I was born and raised.

Even though it is bonito, it has very little fishy smell and is delicious enough to eat with salt! This popular restaurant is always fully booked even on weekdays. I also recommend Kouchi's SAKE.

🐄Wagyu Beef🐂

If you like skirt steak, this restaurant recommend! I can't forget this shop's skirt steak taste. However, the entrance is small and it seems like a hideaway😂

This is chateaubriand and egg sandwich by yakiniku restaurant. this store's beef tongue also delicious! I went there to celebrate my best friend's birthday and graduation.

Beef Cutlets originated in Kyoto, but are also popular in Osaka. In the Namba area, you usually have to line up to eat them, but I discovered  the Beef Cutlet restaurant where you can eat without having to line up at all!

🍵sweets🍡

This store was started in Kyoto in 1869, but its main shop is now in Osaka. Freshly squeezed matcha Mont Blanc and matcha soft serve ice cream are popular. Teas such as green tea, matcha, and hojicha are also very delicious.

It's Matcha Crepe. nice to have the word "「大阪」= Osaka" written on it as a memorial. It was delicious and uses matcha from a 100 year old green tea plantation in Shizuoka Prefecture.

Isn't amazing? It's parfait made from fresh 3 peaches, and limited release only during peach season. I wanna have it next year, too.

🐈Rescue Cats Cafe

There is rescue cats cafe with a diorama design. you can see and have lunch some cats play with moving train toy. 

⛩ Namba Yasaka shrine

Isn't nice a building with the face of a giant lion? Namba Yasaka Shrine is famous for its impressive lion hall. It's said to have benefits such as warding off evil spirits, business prosperity, and matchmaking. Try to go⛩

⛩ Katsuoji

If you like visiting Japanese temples, Katsuoji Temple is also recommended.

Katsuoji has known as the *Temple of Winning Luck* and *Temple of Winning Dharma* this is one of the oldest temples in the Kansai region.The kanji *勝*, which is also the name of the temple, means *win* in English.

Write your goals for the year on the back and your life purpose on the bottom, then fill in the right eye of the Daruma doll. When I take it home and reach my goal, fill in the left eye of the Daruma doll and take it to the temple.

🎏Children's Day🍡

5th May is a day to celebrate for children. Carp streamers are flown in the sky to pray for the healthy growth and success of boys in life in Japan.

🎆Tenjin Festival👘

If you come to Japan in July, you might want to go Tenjin Festival? 

The Tenjin Festival of Osaka is ranked as one of Japan's top three festivals, along with the Gion Matsuri of Kyoto and the Kanda Matsuri of Tokyo.

Tenjin Festival is held every year on July 24th and 25th. better 25th July. 

There were a lot of foreigners too ! Enjoy many food cart and drink ! I and mom watched fireworks on a boat. Search it !

🏳️‍🌈Osaka EXPO 2025🌎

Thanks as hold 184 days and Good work People who worked at the Expo. I adore solo travel abroad, so I was very excited when I saw the exteriors of the overseas pavilions and some national flags. I was exhausted after staying there from morning until night, but it was a nice experience!

Around autumn 2030, this area will become a casino, theater, and art museum. That's why visit  Osaka again.
