Today, I had the chance to enjoy something truly special — the hatsuseri tuna, the first auction tuna of the year.

This year’s first auction tuna was sold for ¥510,300,000 (about 5.1 billion yen), the highest price ever.

It was purchased by the famous sushi restaurant Sushizanmai Ebisubashi-ten.
